Contest Rules
The rules for this Michigan-themed photo contest are straightforward. Submit your most authentic photos of Michigan places, things, or themes—no residency required. There's no entry fee, but each of the three categories (Food, Nature, and Abstract) offers a $100 prize. Open to anyone 13 and up; minors aged 13-17 must include a parent's email and phone number with each submission. Photos must be original (except in Abstract or as specified), and you can enter as many as you'd like weekly. Previously awarded content is disqualified.
Accept only JPEG or PNG files up to 1MB; include title, category, location, and brief description per upload. Basic edits like cropping, exposure, and color correction are fine. AI-generated images are allowed if clearly marked—otherwise, they'll be removed. We prioritize ethical content: no harm to people, animals, or the environment (submissions may be reported to authorities if needed). More categories coming soon.
